30 lessons of 45 min per week.
20 lessons of standard French in group and 10 one-to-one lessons of French for Diplomacy.
This program is intended for those who, for personal or professional reasons, need to acquire a real ease in the administrative language in a diplomatic context, as well written as oral.
The objectives are following: to know the various types of administrative documents, to know how to use and write them, to know the style of the documents in administrative law inherent in the international relations and to learn how to express yourself in public in a formal context.
Following contents will be studied:
- general and administrative correspondence
- standard opening and letter ending
- administrative style and terminology
- argument techniques
- specialized glossary and various registers of language: accuracy and clarity of the expression
- diplomatic rhetoric in the written communication
- speaking in public: suppression of verbal tics, acquisition of linguistic automatisms for non French-speaking people.
This course is intended for students with an intermediate or advanced level in French (equivalent at least to the B1 level of the Common Framework of The European Council).
