Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is the fourth largest city of Spain. Located on the banks of the river Guadalquivir, it is, from an historical point of view, one of the richest cities of the country. Many varied people stopped in the town, among them the Moors, who had a great influence on it during 800 years and left there an indelible mark.
The whole city is beautiful but we must emphasize the district of Santa Cruz with its interlacing of delightful small lanes, or of Triana with its flamenco tradition and its toreadors... With regard to the monuments, we count in Seville varied and very interesting ones: the Real Alcazar, the cathedral (the greatest Gothic temple of the world), the Gold Tower and the emblematic Giralda which offers, from the top, a panoramic view on the very attractive city.
We do not need to sing the praises of the lively and festive aspect of Seville. You will find there one of the most animated nightlife of Spain. People in Seville like to live it up and enjoy themselves, spend their time in the street, willing to share with others. It is really a very pleasant people! Studying Spanish in Seville is, without any doubt, an amusing and enriching experience. And you will have so much to see, to discover and you’d better make the most of it...
